benefits> great taste
Organic farming starts with the nourishment of
the soil, which leads to the nourishment of the plant and, ultimately,
our palate.
Many of our customers tell us taste
is the reason for them buying organic. Their children "demand" (we
are told) organic carrots, apples, oranges, pears, strawberries
and potatoes because they think they taste better too!
Chefs all over the world are also turning to organic produce
in search of how things used to taste when we were children.
Apparently, the lower nitrogen supply
in organic farming leads to an earlier completion of growth
and commencement of ripening and other maturity processes,
resulting in higher phytonutrients involved in colour, and
taste.
So there is a "biological"reason
for organic produce tasting better after all…but if you
don’t
believe us, just give it a go, and taste for yourself…
