All our fruit and vegetables have been grown by small and medium sized growers who respect the land that gives them a living. They pick their crop with care and are passionate about the quality of their produce.

Many have been growing organically all their lives, because they believe that if a grower works with nature instead of against it, nature will reward them with a higher quality product.

Many have converted to organics because they are worried about the effect their chemical usage has on their families and the environment around them.

For others the incentive to convert to organic production methods came from the demand for organically produced crops from domestic and international markets.

Some others could not survive on the returns they were getting from cropping their land conventionally, where small growers really struggle due to lack of financial investment or economies of scale.

Whatever their reason for growing organically, all of our growers are active contributors to the wellbeing of our land, water, and families.

Traceability

Prepacking allows us to trace back to each grower or farm every single prepack that we put out, so that if you have a query about the broccoli you bought yesterday, we can can truly say we know what and who you are talking about.

We became Biogro certified distributors in 1999, and Agriquality certified in 2003.

This means that we also have to comply with very strict standards and be audited on a yearly basis. The single most important thing that we have to comply with is traceability of everything we sell.
